ParticipantThank you for your post, Mr. Zlatkovski. I still have books available. Vanderbilt has ordered from me before, but it’s been a few years. I will check in with them today to see if they’d like to stock more at this time. And yes, I agree that music schools and universities should have a copy in their music library. It is a one-of-a-kind resource for all harpists.

ParticipantGlad you were able to get a copy, JAYDG! Bea particularly felt that the basic music theory material in the book was very important for even young harpists, in addition to all of the alternate fingerings she got from Salzedo for important orchestral works, a technique she furthered during her own orchestral career with the HSO. I learned soooo much about the instrument from our many, many meetings. Oh, and Bill and Bea held a wedding (lingerie!) shower for my wife and me in 1994, which was arranged through other long-time harpist friends! Gracious people!

ParticipantHi all,
I was doing an online search for Bea Rose this morning to review the date she passed away, and a link to this thread on the Harp Column website was one of the results. I had the pleasure of doing the typesetting for Bea’s book and still have copies. If you are interested, please contact me.
