How to search for lessons

Everything you need to know to find lessons you'll love!

With nearly 500 lessons on Harp Column Academy, we know it can be hard to find what you want to watch. But we have good news—searching is now even easier! Here’s what you need to know:

Lessons are divided into main three groups: technique, repertoire, and specialty, which includes things like music theory, arranging, and more. Start your search on the main lessons page by narrowing your focus to one of these three main areas.

Drill down further using the filters for “level,” “genre,” “topic,” and “teacher.” Looking for something specific like “harmonics,” arpeggios,” or “practice habits”? Enter your text in the search bar, or choose from one of the filters.

If you know the teacher you’re looking for, you can jump right to their lessons through the teachers page where you’ll find an alphabetical listing of all the teachers at Harp Column Academy. You’ll find more filters to narrow your search on each teacher’s page.

Keep track of lessons by marking them “watched” using the checkbox on each lesson page. Want to bookmark a lesson to watch later? Use the heart symbol anywhere you see it to add a lesson to your “favorites” list. You’ll find your favorites and watched lessons under my list once you’ve logged in.

We hope you enjoy browsing all the great lessons here at Harp Column Academy!
