His first rag, &#8220;Tickled to Death,&#8221; was published in 1899 when he was 23 years old. His final rag, &#8220;Back to life,&#8221; was published in 1905 shortly before his death.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Shari Pack has arranged two rags by American composer Charles Hunter for three pedal and lever harps. (Harp 1 and Harp 2 are better played on pedal harps. Harp has no chromatics and\u00a0could be played on a lever harp.) &#8220;There are some sophisticated rhythmic patterns here that really add to the fun,&#8221; says Pack.
