Notes from the arranger<\/h3>\n

I have been asked many times over the last few years to publish a collection of simple Christmas carols for harpists: at last, here they are! Most of them are indeed simple and are borrowed from a number of countries. I hope they will be of use to harpists and keep many people entertained over the festive season.<\/p>\n

Following my usual practise, as seen in previous publications such as O\u2019r Dechrau, I have added the second harp part to encourage players new to ensemble playing to develop this skill: the first part may be played as a solo, but by adding the second the newcomer can harp along with a friend or teacher. In addition this book is a useful source of material for teachers to make arrangements for Christmas harp choirs in services and concerts.<\/p>\n
