It was composed in August 1995 on the occasion of the All-Ireland Fleadh Cheoil in Listowel, County Kerry. Patrick decided it was too far to travel from Belfast to Kerry by bus, so he caught an aeroplane instead \u2013 hence the title! This tune is unusual for a slip jig in that each part is repeated.<\/p>\n<p>I have marked in some fingering tips which you might find useful. I find that sliding the thumb as marked at the end of the 2nd and 3rd parts really improves the flow.
