The second movement, \u201cThe Dove,\u201d or \u201cLa colomba,\u201d is based on a work of 17th century composer Jacques de Gallot. Much of the original harp part with sonorous rolled chords, delicate harmonics, and moving eighth notes in sixths has been retained.
