It was the closing piece of a\u00a0<em>fas\u0131l<\/em>\u00a0(a collection of pieces). The Saz Sem\u00e2\u00ee consists of different parts: \u201cteslim\u201d (refrain) and \u201ch\u00e2ne\u201d (lit. house). The parts are usually in 10\/8 (\u201caksak sem\u00e2\u00ee\u201d) and the last \u201ch\u00e2ne\u201d has mostly a different time signature. \u201cNih\u00e2vend\u201d is a makam used in Turkish Classical Music.<\/p>\n<p>Re\u015fat Aysu (1910-1999) was a Turkish composer and violinist.
