It is originally for orchestra (no harp) and chorus; however, the string arpeggio motifs translate well to the harp. The key has been changed from F-sharp minor to F minor for better sonority on pedal harp. Pedal changes and other performance indications are consistently marked, with two instances of the left foot crossing over to the right foot\u2019s E pedal.
