This explains the title of the piece, which I dedicate to Katryna, whose invaluable achievements in the promotion and development of the harp in Singapore and Malaysia cannot be valued highly enough. My samba affords performers plenty of room for rhythmic improvisation and additional percussionists may complement the ensemble.
