Verse one could play with any of the other three verses.<\/p>\n<p>This popular children\u2019s Christmas Carol celebrates the third century St. Nicholas who was famous for leaving bags of coins on doorsteps of those in need. Emily Huntington Miller published her poem, &#8220;Lilly\u2019s Secret,&#8221; in <em>The Little Corporal Magazine<\/em> in December 1865. It\u2019s believed that James R.
