This work features a theme with four variations, showcasing different harp techniques. Rees-Rohrbacher says the work “was conceived for the pedal harp in the key of C-flat but could also be played on a triple harp in the key of C-natural. In order to adapt it to the lever harp, some adjustments needed to be made such as elimination of some left-hand notes to facilitate lever changes and a few note alterations. I also made a few changes in note values and beaming in order to make the work easier to read on the page. However, I left most of Thomas’ work intact.” Dynamic markings, fingerings, metronome markings, 8va indications, and instructions are provided for ease of performance.

This piece is available as a PDF download for $8.00.

Pages to print: 14 pgs.

[1020
477
post-137295","product","type-product","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","product_cat-darhon-rees-rohrbacher","product_tag-harp-solo","pa_artist-rees-rohrbacher-darhon","pa_composer-thomas-john","pa_genre-classical","pa_harp-type-harp-lever","pa_instrumentation-harp-solo","pa_level-advanced","pa_nationality-welsh","pa_publisher-afghan-press","first","instock","downloadable","purchasable","product-type-simple
["GET
