There are a few places to tap the soundboard, and a couple of harmonics at the end. The harmonics are played where written.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<h4>Scroll down to listen.<\/h4>\n<p>Elizabeth Volp\u00e9 Bligh&#8217;s &#8220;Dance of the Staggering Baby&#8221; is an original work for solo lever or pedal harp. The composer says, &#8220;I wrote this to describe my baby granddaughter&#8217;s first attempts at walking. She loves Brazilian rhythms, so I based it on that, with some segments depicting her staggering walk, with a few falls.
