Some even consider it the quintessential opera of all time. It timeless success is mainly due to the many arias, which can safely be counted amongst the &#8220;greatest hits&#8221; of classical music, including this minuet from the end of Act 1.<\/p>\n<p>The ballet music \u201cDance of the Blessed Spirits&#8221; from Act 2 of the opera &#8220;Orpheus ed Euridice&#8221; is one of the &#8220;eternal melodies&#8221; of the world of music and is available in countless arrangements and recordings.
