I have added a descant of my own in the third verse which gives it another layer of poignancy. It&#8217;s intended for a 4-part ensemble ideally, but it&#8217;s possible to play with only three players (or even two, though this would lose the descant, which I think would be shame, even if I say so myself&#8230;).
