\"\"We are absolutely beyond ecstatic to introduce Janne-Minke Nijp’s<\/a> new “Popharp” series! Nijp has arranged hits from top artists like Adele, Beyonce, Lady Gaga, and Christina Aguilera for solo harp and also harp and voice. What’s even better is that her arrangements can all be played on lever harp, plus they are affordable and not difficult!<\/p>\n

“I really love to arrange pop songs for harp,” says Janne Minke. “I try to keep the feel of the song and make a beautiful arrangement for harp. I also compose my own songs that are inspired by [Ludovico] Einaudi.”<\/em><\/p>\n

Janne-Minke studied classical harp at the Artez Conservatory in the Netherlands, but afterwards decided to focus on pop music. She has played in several bands and currently she is playing in the band Lilith Effie.<\/a>\u00a0Janne-Minke also teaches at several music schools in the Netherlands, and she says that almost all of her students play pop music. So what does Janne-Minke like to play when she’s not arranging and teaching?<\/p>\n
