Shall We Gather

Kim Robertson
Robertson’s collection of “Hymns and Inspiring Airs” are for solo lever harp. Pull them out anytime you need to inject a little calm into your life.

On the Water

Monika Stadler
Stadler’s collection for lever harp also includes an optional second harp part for several of the pieces. The reflective melodies use music to connect with nature and the rhythms of life.

Message from the Trees

Kirsten Agresta Copely
This meditative and peaceful original is for solo pedal harp. Written in response to Pacific Northwest wildfires, the melody “calmly drifts like a leaf to the ground,” says Agresta Copely.

Skaila Kanga
Kanga’s original six-movement suite in the classical style is for solo pedal harp. Calming melodies alternate with lively dance tunes.

Cécile Chaminade, arr. Marguerite Lynn Williams
Williams’ transcription of the classic from Romance sans paroles is for solo pedal harp. The tranquil, meditative piece was originally for piano, but works beautifully on the harp.

Evening Prayer

Engelbert Humperdinck, arr. Christa Grix
Grix’s version of the beautiful 19th-century hymn from the opera Hansel and Gretel uses modern harmonies and is for solo pedal harp. Perfect for the holidays and beyond.

Two Preludes

Claude Debussy, arr. Judith Liber
Liber’s transcriptions of the classic Debussy preludes “Bruyères” and “Des pas sur la neige” seek to be as close as possible to the original and include enharmonic spellings, fingerings, and pedals.

G. F. Handel, arr. Sophie Clavel
Clavel’s arrangement the classic “Pastorale” is for solo pedal harp. The introduction to his Handel’s Tema con Variazioni is a great addition to wedding repertoire.
