Notes from the arranger

Adapted beautifully for pedal harp, with alto voice (vocal range from G below middle C, to the second E above middle C). Baritone voice could sing it an octave lower than written. Flute, violin or oboe (playing an octave higher than written) may be substituted for the voice. There is an optional cello part (doubling the low notes of the harp part), so it can be played as a duo OR a trio. The harp part shows the vocal on a cue staff.
