It is accessible for the advanced beginner – there is only one lever change in Harp 1 and none in Harp 2 – and can also be played on pedal harps. (See additional notes from the arranger, below.)

Arranger’s Notes

The Ländler is a folk dance in 3/4 time which was popular in Austria and Switzerland at the end of the 18th century. It was also danced in “The Sound of Music.” Schubert’s Ländler Dances are delightful melodies that are fun to hear and to play.
