Serena O’Meara’s arrangement of “While Shepherds Watched Their Flocks” is for two lever or pedal harps. The “Father of American Church music,” Lowell Mason, adapted an aria from G.F. Handel’s 1728 opera Siroe, which led to this American favorite. The melody is evenly divided between both harp parts.
