Notes form the arranger
No proof exists that Turlough O’Carolan actually composed this tune; however, since the 1800’s, published music books have credited the song to him. It’s certain he did know the neighboring blind harper, M’aire Dhall.

Serena O’Meara’s arrangement of Turlough O’Carolan’s “Blind Mary” is for two lever or pedal harps. This peppy tune is a delight to listen to and play! The melody is evenly divided between both Harp 1 and 2 parts. Scroll down for notes from the arranger.
