Hannah Haynes’s I am Alpha and Omega is for pedal harp and SAB choir. A particularly mysterious feel pervades this piece of sacred music that features words based on a series of poems by Helen Rongong. This piece may be performed by itself or as one movement of Haynes’s A Moment of Eternity, a series based on the “I am” sayings of Jesus in John’s Gospel and the book of Revelation.
