Two Handel Favorites

Deborah Dahl Shanks has arranged Two Handel Favorites for solo lever or pedal harp. Included are the Pastoral Symphony from Messiah and the theme from the Concerto in Bb. The Pastoral Symphony is the complete piece and remains true to the simplistic and relaxed sound intended by Handel. The theme from the Concerto in Bb (presented here in C) highlights the familiar ritornello melody. Both pieces require a range of two octaves below middle C and have few lever changes.
