The Medieval Harp is a collection of 19 pieces from Medieval literature, arranged by Deborah Dahl Shank for solo lever or pedal harp. Pieces range from Gregorian Chant to secular song and dance and include a setting of a Gregorian Mass for Lent. The arrangements are appropriate for a large lever harp with 2 octaves below middle C and tuned to Eb or C. “The settings remain true to the austere and simple sound of the Medieval Period and are generally intuitive for the musician to quickly learn and master,” says the arranger.
