Note from the composer

The first two movements are in E phrygian and require nothing but natural strings. The 3rd movement is in E minor (requiring an F#). The 4th movement is in B phrygian (requiring an F#). The 5th movement is in B minor (F#-C# required), and the final movement is C major.
