Life Aquatic

Cindy Horstman’s original composition Life Aquatic is for pedal harp and flute. The four-movement piece, which depicts aquatic life in the Pacific Ocean, is a mixture of classical and jazz based styles, and received second place in the American Harp Society Los Angeles Chapter 2017 composition competition. Cindy says the piece “drew inspiration from the diversity of life in tide pools to the comical, playful nature of sea otters and the gentle yet majestic motion of waves.” Movements include:
