Soon May the Wellerman Come

$7.00

Anna Dunwoodie has arranged the New Zealand sea shanty “Soon May The Wellerman Come” for two lever or pedal harps. The “Wellerman” refers to the nickname that whalers gave men from the Weller shipping company who dropped off their supplies while at sea. Dunwoodie (herself a New Zealander) says this peppy arrangement has “something of a ragtime, dixie swing to it––all quavers are swung, and at its slowest it is a nice lilting tune, but when you get your fingers around some of the trickier parts, it can be a rousing tune!”
