Ride the Night Skies

Anna Dunwoodie’s Ride The Night Skies is for three lever or pedal harps. Dunwoodie wrote the majority of this piece on Halloween night and notes that the piece’s title refers to riding the night sky aboard a broomstick where things can be “bumpy, smooth, breezy or crazy.” Dunwoodie uses techniques such as glissandos, pres de la table, bisbigliando, and harmonics to help depict the ride!
