January-February 2015 Issue Preview

Dusty Strings founders Ray and Sue Mooers share the secret to their success in Harp Column's January-February 2015 issue.
December 22, 2014

We’ve just wrapped up the January-February 2015 issue of Harp Column, featuring our interview with Ray and Sue Mooers, the entrepreneurial duo behind Dusty Strings. The couple reflects on 35 years of building instruments and reveal the secret to their success. (Hint: it’s not their harps!). We know you’re going to love hearing what they have to say.

Also in this issue, “Going Digital” with the Chicago Harp Quartet. The ensemble is breaking traditions in many ways, and we love that they perform exclusively using iPads in place of traditional sheet music. They share what they’ve learned about using the music reader forScore and performing digitally. Plus, a bonus video from the group on how to get started.

And finally, our biennial Summer Camp Roundup returns with over 70 harp programs for all ages and levels. If you’re looking for something harpistic to do this summer, we’ve got you covered.

Our January-February 2015 issue will arrive in mailboxes in early January; read it online beginning January 1. We hope you enjoy it!
