My teaching style is tailored to each individual student at whatever level they are. Technique is a large element of what I teach as it is essential to work with as much control as possible so that one can express themselves musically with no hindrance due to lack of facility. Classical repertoire must be studied in my studio, but I also not only encourage but require my students to learn other styles of music. I find it is important to develop a large view of music as a whole.
