I have many years of teaching experience. I have taught harp to all levels of students, from beginners to professionals. I can help you obtain a rental harp if you do not own one. I am also happy to advise about a good instrument to purchase.
All lessons will be conducted on Zoom, with local students transitioning to in-person in my studio when it is safe to do so. I am comfortable teaching by distance indefinitely for students who do not live within driving distance, however.
I am an active professional, performing frequently (pre-COVID) as a soloist internationally. I debuted as a concerto soloist at Carnegie Hall in 2015. I have been presented by numerous orchestras and presenting organizations throughout the US and abroad.
I am an Associate Professor of Composition at the Yale School of Music, and hold degrees from The Eastman School of Music (BM, Composition), The Cleveland Institute of Music (Artist Diploma, Harp Performance), and Harvard University (PhD, Composition).
