I have maintained a private teaching studio for the past 10 years. I focus on the development of my student’s technique to enhance each one’s unique musical voice and goals. I aim to provide a safe, encouraging and structured environment for them the strive in. In addition to a private studio, I love doing coachings for Youth Orchestra and Chamber Ensembles.

“My method lies in one fundamental principal: suppleness.” -Renie. In the Renie/Grandjany tradition, I help students develop technique that is graceful yet strong, teach effective practice, theory, musicality, and can also do vocal coaching. Careful consideration is given to choosing pieces you can accomplish with just the right balance of work and fun! As Renie said, “The basis of instruction is the same, but the form differs for each.” I love helping each student develop their unique gifts.
I’m a seasoned teacher, and love working with all age groups. Trained in the Renie/Grandjany tradition, I help my students develop a strong, yet natural and flowing technique right from the start. I teach music theory alongside of technique, as it makes everything so much easier on harp! Having an extensive vocal background, I also enjoy working with students who wish to learn how to sing and accompany themselves on harp.
I am accepting harp students of all ages and levels on pedal harp and lever harp. Students have opportunities to participate in student recitals, harp ensemble and competitions & auditions.
