Searching tips: Search for listings by name or location in the directory search boxes below. Narrow your search using the filters to the left. You can also search by region using the links to the right. Search for other information such as school affiliations in the directory search box. (Note: the main site search box at the top right does not search on directory listing information.) Reminder to teachers: Since your directory information is public, anyone can contact you, including those who might not be legit. If an inquiry seems fishy, it's probably phishy. Be wary of scams.

I am passionate about education and supporting each student’s individual needs to help them reach their full potential. No matter how the harp fits into a student’s life, I will incorporate my extensive performing experience to create an exciting, challenging, and fun learning environment!

A love of music and a sense of joy in music-making informs everything we do at the instrument.
I work with my students to select repertory that engages them on a deeply personal level while
also using each piece as a vehicle for exploring technique and tone production. With each work
we study, the end goal is always to make music in an authentic and meaningful way.

Krysten Keches

I teach students of all ages and levels at my private studio in Boston, Massachusetts. I specialize in classical pedal and lever harp instruction and strive to share my love of music in a warm and supportive environment. During lessons I focus on developing strong, fluid technique while encouraging individual creativity.

I love helping my students lay a strong technical and musical foundation.  Once they are comfortable with the basics I think it is important to incorporate each student’s interests whether they be arranging music, orchestral rep, performance skills etc.  I have taught for 12+ years including several years at universities.  I teach ages 3 to adult.  I am passionate about teaching and seeing my students have fun while developing the skills they need to reach their goals.
