Searching tips: Search for listings by name or location in the directory search boxes below. Narrow your search using the filters to the left. You can also search by region using the links to the right. Search for other information such as school affiliations in the directory search box. (Note: the main site search box at the top right does not search on directory listing information.) Reminder to teachers: Since your directory information is public, anyone can contact you, including those who might not be legit. If an inquiry seems fishy, it's probably phishy. Be wary of scams.

I teach students of all ages and musical abilities. I have a fun and relaxed approach to teaching and tailor lessons to the students needs. Whether you eventually want to play with an orchestra, in church, or just want to be able to play your favorite songs, I will help you achieve your musical goals! I incorporate music theory into my lessons so students understand how music is written. I truly enjoy sharing my love for this special instrument.

I have many years of teaching experience. I have taught harp to all levels of students, from beginners to professionals. I can help you obtain a rental harp if you do not own one. I am also happy to advise about a good instrument to purchase.

All lessons will be conducted on Zoom, with local students transitioning to in-person in my studio when it is safe to do so. I am comfortable teaching by distance indefinitely for students who do not live within driving distance, however.

35 years of experience in private or group lessons in Rebecca’s studio. Instruction tailored to individual learning styles. Harps available for rent to beginners. Harp ensemble experience available to all students, performing throughout Southern New England. Recent commission of music for ‘Harpeggios’ (student harp ensemble) with a generous grant from the American Harp Society. Work with student’s school to incorporate them into school performing ensemble.

My primary goal in teaching is to impart a love of music and learning to each and every student. I implement music theory regularly in lessons to give students the tools they need in order to pick up a piece of music and learn it for their own enjoyment. I strive in every lesson to make the learning process fun, relaxing and fulfilling for my students, while encouraging regular performance goals and benchmarks to keep motivation levels healthy.

I love teaching and sharing the harp with students of all ages and levels.  I have a huge music library and enjoy finding the music that is exciting for each student.  I have great training to share and  I have student harps that I rent out, and a lovely studio that is easily accessible.  I teach many lessons online and I can also travel to teach at your home for an additional fee.  I founded and direct the Elyrica Summer Harp Program, now in its 22nd year.  I hope we can work together!
