Brigham Young University School of Music

This program is best suited for students who:

"fit a wide range of profiles - from competition-driven to creatively focussed."

What sets this program apart from others is:

"the professor has training from top instructors in Moscow and Paris, as well as Juilliard."

Students who graduate from this program go on to:

"seek masters and doctoral degrees, fill principal harp positions, and teach in music schools."

The three words that best describe this school's environment are:

"engaging, demanding, social."

The BYU harp program is unique in that it offers such a wide range of performing opportunities at a very high level, for an extremely low price. The professors are well qualified, top students travel internationally with the large ensembles, and the university financially supports many students in applied experiential learning away from campus.
