Ruth Inglefield Composition Contest

The contest was posthumously named after its founder and director, Dr. Ruth Inglefield (pictured) 

The Ruth Inglefield Composition Contest will take place in fall, 2021, with submissions due Oct. 1 and recordings due Nov. 1. Pieces must be unpublished, unawarded, and between six and eight minutes in length. The winner will receive a $2,000 prize, and the work will be published by Lyon & Healy. The winning composition will also be required repertoire in stage three of the USA International Harp Competition (USAIHC), slated for 2022.
